I’ve been busy.
Tuesday was the third session with my lovely seniors from U3A who are writing their life stories.
Thursday I drove for what seemed like the entire length of Melbourne to Highvale Primary to talk to the children. We managed a small launch for ‘Space Footy and Other Stories’ as a few copies turned up the previous day. I was extra lucky in that the choir had performed for ‘education week’ in the local mall. So when they returned I asked them to sing for me and they certainly did. It was lovely. The school itself is everything a school might hope to be, with a lovely green environment, a wonderful principal, caring teachers and a delightful mix of children from different ethnicities.
Saturday was a whole day workshop at Moorabbin Tafe with 8 professionals(a paediatrician, several accountants, a chef, a retired advertising exec, a high school teacher etc. etc.) A fabulous group.

Children aged 7-9 (Junior novels)
Children aged 9-12 (Older children/middle grade)
4. Young adult: 12-15 (Junior high school)
5. Older Young Adult ( crossover adult)
Fiction? Non fiction? Scripts? Poetry? Animation? Internet? Graphic novel?
Genre? mystery, fantasy, high fantasy, history, horror, magic realism, romance, adventure????
